Ive got a beast of a 5/16 heavy thick jade mat and it just about fits inside. Being that the mat is natural rubber and very sticky it can be a bit of a struggle to get it inside the bag, obviously its still easier to use that the drawstring at the top of the bag style. Normally you would think this is not so big of a deal but when the next class is comming you want to "wrap up" your show quickly for the next group and its a bit of a hassle to be the last one fidgiting and fighting to get your mat "bagged". In the product's defense my mat is rather thick but when I read "Extra Large and Easy Open" I thought this would be more the home run I was looking for. The mat does fit if you really roll it up super tight before you attempt to place it in the bag, but one wrong move and it starts to unravel and your back to barely getting it zipped up and after that there isnt much room for anything else. The cotton, zippers and construction seem to be of good quality ans its already been through the washing machine just fine. I have smaller mats that I will use this bag with instead, all in all its adaquate, but if you are looking to use this with a Jade 5/16 or even a Manduka Pro and were looking for a little extra room look elsewere....

So far I'm happy with my bag. I like that I can roll up my hand weights inside my mat and carry everything together....
