I received my mat yesterday. It did have a slight odor but per the instructions, I washed & aired it out. I used it today for hot/bikram yoga. Besides looking absolutely beautiful (I ADORE orchids), it held up really, really well in the hot tempurature, even with my sweat all over it. I was concerned some of the funny smell would come back because of the heat, but nothing. This mat is definitely worth the price. Love it!...

This Wai Lana Mat is very unique I find. Someone gave to me to use for a class when I forgot my own mat and it was very nice. Very comfortable, and the design I think is actually very calming. Love the color a lot too....
