Our Mexican Yoga Blankets are hand woven and are made in different villages in Mexico. Each yoga blanket is unique and may vary slightly in pattern and color. The pictures represent the main color theme of each blanket, sometimes the blankets are darker and sometimes lighter than the actual picture but do provide a good representation of the blanket color. These are authentic handmade Mexican blankets so the colors and patterns change often.

Mexican blankets are used frequently in Iyengar and restorative yoga practices. They can be used folded under sitting poses to cushion bones and joints, underneath you in repose positions to insulate from cold flooring, rolled or folded to provide support in poses, or just as a cover to warm you in Savasana.
These blankets are also great for use at the beach, a picnic, a decorative throw cover or to cover an outdoor table and of course for providing warmth as a blanket.

This is a nice blanket but it is a bit thin and when I washed it, it shed and continues to shed. I think it will take a few more washings for that to stop. It is not expensive by any means but I had hoped it would be a little nicer. Buy this blanket with that in mind and you will be fine....

You get what you pay for with this blanket. Hand made in Mexico, but the quality is lacking. Seems a little thin to me. Not as nice as the Handmade Premium Mexican Yoga Blanket. (Amazon won't link to it, so simply copy/paste the title in the search bar to find it)....
