I have been doing Pilates with band resistance for a few months and can definitely feel the difference. The only weakness I would say in the video is that for beginners or even medium workouts I think that on the DVD she should have pointed out more that you CAN take a short break, and also for beginners, to use the lightest band. She is in great shape and can do the exercises without rest. This is ideal but you have to work up to that. Otherwise it is a great starter kit and a very good video....
