I've practiced yoga for many, many years and recently took a job that requires a lot of travel, mostly international. Needing to travel as light as possible, bringing a mat - even a thin one - just isn't practical. However, what I need more than anything after 12 - 18 hours of air travel is to stretch and get my body back in alignment, so I figured I'd give these a try. While I wouldn't use them otherwise, they are functional enough to get the job done and take up practically no space in my suitcase. They slip around a little, which I think could only be avoided by tightening the elastic, likely making them uncomfortable. They work better on hardwood rather than carpet. My main issue has nothing to with the product itself, but that without a mat, you need to put a towel or something underneath so you're not laying on or putting your face directly onto a hotel room floor. In practice, I'm constantly moving the towel in and out of the way, breaking the flow. For this reason alone, I'll continue my quest for a super thin mat but these are a fantastic solution for now. I definitely recommend them....
