I ordered 2 rolls of mats for a small gym in a small town in Texas with concrete floors. The thicker mats do a great job in most poses, without being too thick for balance poses. After cutting the mats (18 from each roll) I had a small amount left over that I cut into several 8 or 9 inch pieces so students can use them for extra padding for the knees or pubic bone in floor poses. It's really economical to order a big roll, and our trim color in the gym is red, so having all red mats - the color is a perfect match! - really looks fantastic. Because it is a gym, the students were asked to use the older mats when they exercise with shoes on, and the red mats stay clean and great looking for yoga classes....

My best bud is a 12 year-old Rottie...his mind is like a steel trap, his love for anything fun is as strong as ever, but his back-end has gotten pretty weak.
On our wood floors he really was having a hard time getting up from a sitting or a sleeping position--very sad.
We didn't want carpet or rugs (5 dogs (rescues) total) so we put 103 feet of Yoga Mat down and now besides having a comfortable bed about everywhere, when he is ready to get up the mats also provide him great traction. He is again enjoying life as he did for his first 10+ years.
These Yoga Mats are light, easy to move, wipe clean with a damp cloth or mop, and don't retain any odor. So thanks YogaAccessories--and my boy Axl asked me to tell you "ruff" from him....
