The quality of this mat is utter junk. The print is beautiful and it could be a good mat if you actually never used it for pilates or yoga. But if you do use it then be prepared for chunks of the mat to start peeling off as you are using it. I've used mine about four times and it has numerous pieces where the mat has just peeled off holes under my feet or hands. I wish I had started using this before my return window expired. Now it's headed to the trash can....

So I flipped it over and started using it upside down. Never had this happen to a mat before. Oh well - guess I can't complain for the price I got it for......

Before I purchased this mat I owned two Nike yoga mats. Both were and are practically indestructible and did their job for many years. I expected a comparable quality from Stott and am now absolutely disappointed.
First off, it is NOT sticky, as a yoga mat should be, so it's almost impossible to do and hold certain poses. Maybe it is not designed for yoga, but personally I think it would be too thin for Pilates or anything similar. Also, I have used it only maybe 10-20 times and it looks terrible already. Little foam parts come off all too easily every single time I use it.
Definitely cannot recommend....
