Manduka MatSak

Large yoga bag designed for 26-inch or smaller mats

Breathable main compartment accommodates most mats

Side zippered compartment for accessories or personal items

Lightweight ballistic canvas is durable and long lasting

Unique ventilation system lets mat breathe; 31.7 x 7.1 x 7.1 inches

A perfect fit for Manduka's eKO and black yoga mats, the large Manduka Mat Sak will last every bit as long as your yoga mat itself. The bag is designed with two compartments: a large, breathable main compartment that accommodates mats as big as 26 inches wide, and a side zippered compartment with organizer pockets for other yoga accessories, such as straps, towels, and personal belongings. Users will also appreciate the durable, lightweight ballistic nylon material--the same kind used by premium luggage brands--along with the unique ventilation system, which lets the mat breathe while stored inside the Mat Sak. Also available in a smaller size that's ideal for Manduka's PurpleLite mat, the large Mat Sak measures 31.7 by 7.1 by 7.1 inches (W x H x D).

This is a good bag as it's well ventilated and large enough for my 71-inch BlackMatPro. I like that it's made of canvas and easily washable (it smelled when I got it new).

One big flaw for the high price: The metal links of the strap dig into the shoulder and HURT! It has a strap pad but if you're carrying the bag vertically up and down your back, the position is so that the metal clasp is right on the meat of your shoulder. It's tolerable for walking from the car to the studio, but if your trekking from home, you may need to cover it with foam or something.

This is one of the most expensive bags available, so for ~$50 I'd say it's okay; I haven't found one any better....

and worth it but if you're most concerned about price there are much less expensive, functional bags out there, albeit not as good looking. The bag lacks a secure place to store small items such as ID, cell phone, keys, etc...but has a generous sized side compartment which comfortably fits a towel, strap and bottle of water....

One of the 2 zippers on this bag consistently jams with the fabric it is sewed to. A replacement bag had the exact same flaw....
