i bought it for my mom. she loves it. now i'm the super great, loving son. I don't know if it was big enough, but she seemed to really like it and does not have a problem w/ it. her mat is 1/4" thick, fairly wide and long. sorry i forgot the exact dimensions.

Bag is cute, seems to be well made, but the mat I bought at the same time .. a Gaiam 4mm one, it too tall for it and sticks out....
extremely annoying....
