This zafu feels like sitting on a comfortable bean bag chair. It is soft, yet durable, and assists in creating an exquisitely cozy position for meditation. So far, I've only used it in my living room, but it seems strong enough to take even the harshest conditions (grass, cement, etc). It is aesthetically pleasing, and would suit either gender.
If you are desiring more from your meditation, this zafu is an excellent purchase.
While I'm sure most zafu's are of similar feel, the look on this one is what sets it apart....

I almost didn't buy this because there were so few reviews and one of the reviews for the Toile Orange kind said the fabric was dingy and faded.
Well, I'm glad I got it anyway! It's beautiful; it looks just like the picture. I couldn't be happier with its appearance.
I've only been meditating on this zafu for a few days so I'm still getting used to the feel, but so far it's quite comfortable....
