This "G.I. Foam Sleeping Pad" provides a decent protective layer between a sleeping bag and the ground, but it more suited to teens rather than full sized adults. Here are my observations:Pros -
+ Weight; my pack isn't really noticeably heavier with this attached
+ Insulation; prevents loss of heat to the ground
+ Maintenance; easy to clean, dirt just wipes off
+ Small; rolls fairly tightlyMisc -
* Comfort; this is a little thinner than my other camping mat and provides less padding, but it was fine for my teen sonThis is a good value for what you get, but I like my Wenzel Convoluted Camp Pad (Green) better.Recommended!CFH...
