Each rug is 72'' long by 24'' wide, the size of a standard yoga mat. We recommend you wash your rug in cold water and hang it to dry. Please do NOT put it in the dryer, as the heat of the dryer will cause the rug to shrink. Your rug may tighten up after air drying but won't shrink. It will loosen again with repeated use.

I got a maroon one of these for Christmas after putting it on my wish list, and it has not disappointed me. I do yoga on my Wii Fit, and I wanted a cotton mat because the main problem I have is that I have hardwood floors and sweat a lot, so my hands and feet were sliding all over the place. This solves the problem perfectly. It's also even prettier than I thought it would be, which is a plus. The stripes on it are in different shades of maroon, ranging from dark maroon to a dark pinkish color. The material is not soft (so no sliding), but it's not rough, either (so no torn-up hands), and it's a tight, sturdy weave of medium thickness. Those who need extra padding might want to use it over a foam mat for extra cushioning, but this is not a concern for me. It also smelled a bit like plastic when I first opened it (from the plastic bag it came in), but the smell is gone now that it's aired out for a couple days....

I love these rugs/blankets.
They are good for yoga on top of my mat, to fold up under my hip, or to throw on the ground at the park.
Well constructed and a good price.
I also use it for a cover up on my bed on really cold nights and it adds some great warmth....

Affordable and comfortable.
I like to put this on top of my mat to help absorb moisture during my practice.
