I love this mat towel. It is the only one of it's kind (that I've found) and whoever came up w/ it is a genius. I bought it about a year ago and attend classes 2-3 times a week. Needless to say, it's been through a lot of abuse and washings (I air dry b/c it's "greener" and b/c the tag said it might stain the inside of the dryer) and it still looks & works great. It's very helpful in giving you a little bit more stability from slipping/sliding on your mat (we live in a very warm climate, so perspiration is an issue). I've found I can try more intense poses with more confidence, and less slipping....

This towel is a must for hot yoga. If you are practicing with only a regular yoga mat, you need to buy this. I loved hot yoga but hated the slippery mat and coming home trying to clean it each and every time. This towel may seem a little "pricey" but well worth the investment. It works perfectly over your regular yoga mat to prevent slipping and sliding out of poses. Wondered myself if it really would stay in place, but it does. What I love most is, after class I just throw it in the washing machine and I am done. This pumpkin orange color is just the right shade of orange (not too bright). I would not be without one of these towels now for yoga. I do agree with another reviewer, that I wish they made a smaller version without the "grips" on the back, just to use as a regular towel. Great product!...
