I love yoga; I find it to be very relaxing, calming and a wonderful workout. I have been wanting a new yoga mat for a long time. I was surprised on my birthday to receive the exact yoga set I've been desiring. My husband is so good to me, it was a beautiful gift.
Yoga Mat:
The mat is very beautiful, with a rich green color and a gorgeous design of the Tree of Life. The mat is also sticky, so it stays in place while I am in various poses such as cobbler's pose or downward facing dog. The foam isn't as dense as I would like it to be, with having such a bad back. The chemical smell is only evident when your nose is almost touching the mat, but disappears after many uses. This mat has worked well for me in the three months I've had it.
Carrying Case:
The tree of life embroidery is in a lovely shade of green. The bag itself is a beautiful cream color. It is machine washable, which makes for easy cleaning. The bag has plenty of room for storing my mat, water bottle, a thirsty towel and an extra tee. It does not accommodate extra wide mats, so check the widths if you are buying this bag separately. There is a snap to enclose the bag, I would have preferred a zipper, but I guess you can't always have it all.
Water Bottle:
I haven't used the water bottle too often, as I don't like the metallic taste. I did drop the bottle once and it now has a dent in it and a little bit of the paint has flacked off. Basically, I use this water bottle to water my plants.
Overall:
Except for the water bottle, I love the yoga set. It is both durable and pretty. It would make a wonderful gift for a beginner yogi.
