This is a versatile bag for trips to yoga class as well as trips around town. It's compact and easily folded into luggage for a comfortable and big handbag when you've reached your destination -- a great thing give the limited number of carry on luggage. It's a high quality cotton that's easy to clean in the washer too....

This bag is really cute, but that's really about it. It's really thin, and not quite the right shape to hold my mat. It's just barely tall enough to make it halfway up the mat, and even if I angle the mat in it still feels like it might easily fall out. There's one little strap on the side, but that's it. No matching strap to tie together and it doesn't fit around the mat either. If I had to sum this bag up in one word it would be "awkward". Not entirely useless, but definitely not going to be used for what I had intended - yoga.
I chose this bag over the others because it seemed like it would hold the mat PLUS blocks and straps, unlike the other cute mat bags that look like they'd hold just a mat and MAYBE some other tiny items. Guess I'll keep looking!...

I like this bag, but I won't use it for holding my yoga mat (maybe for my blocks, towels and a chg of clothes). The sides are not tall enough to hold it comfortably. As others have mentioned, there's one weird single side strap (just a thin string). Don't know what to do with that since there is not second strap for the other side, so you can't even tie it. As someone else said, you can fix it yourself, but that shouldn't be so since one paid good money for the bag. The customer should not have to fix a design defect, even if it is easy to do, but I digress.
For all other purposes, it's a really cute sling bag to own. I try not to put anything heavy in there when I carry it around because it weighs me down on one side. The sling bag is ideal for carrying light objects like wallet, keys and clothes. It's really cute, and made of good think cotton quality....
