I bought my Eco-friendly Jute mat 11 months ago, machine washed and dried it after every hot yoga practice 3 to 6 days per week, and I can not see any deterioration so far. No fraying, no worn spots and no discoloration that I can tell. I just throw it in my front loading washing machine that has a quick wash setting, warm/cold, slow spin dry and extra rinse cycle. Now when I am doing the floor poses and I smell something funny, I know it is not my mat!...
