This block is not a "standard size" yoga block; so carefully measure what size you are looking for, and then compare your notes with the dimensions of this item. The durability of the item appears to be good; just doesn't quite give me both the depth and height I was hoping for....

These yoga blocks are great - they are just like the ones I use in class. By having these props it is much easier to get into a yoga pose that stretches the right muscles. I like that the blocks aren't as hard as wood. I also like that they are very light weight....

This is a nice sturdy and pretty purple block. However, at first use it feels a little unstable, maybe due to the slightly narrower with that what I am used to. Still, overall I am happy with it. I would probably buy it again if I ever needed another one. The beveled edges are nice, they make it more comfortable under my hand....

I use this mat to reduce the impact and cushion my joints from the hard deck of the pool. I'm not too sure it will withstand the chlorine environment but time will tell. However it is a wonderfully soft mat and good to work with. It is quite light to move around and I rinse and air dry it. I think it was expensive at $147, but there really was not much choice....

i use this mat all the time, and recommend it for parents to do table top or floor ex's. it rolls up easily and also floats in water. I wish it were cheaper, but it's the one i use...

The advantage of this is the price. I have added yoga as part of the P90X fitness program and needed yoga blocks (I am not very flexible yet.) The yoga blocks are regular blocks, foam type, strong and work just fine. The mat is just a tad thinner than you will want if you are working on a wood or concrete floor, but I have interlocking rubber pads under the mat. It stays put and adds a little more cushioning and slip resistance. I have not used the belt or the DVD as the program I am using does not include the belt and the positions are demonstrated on the DVD's that come with the P90X.

For the price, this works just fine. Go for it....

It does make the floor softer, so it gets 1 star. But it is very slippery. I am a yoga beginner, and it's very frustrating not to be able to learn poses correctly because my hands keep slipping. In Downward Dog I really feel I'm about to slip and fall just as I'm really getting my spine extended. Also, mine's only a week old or so, but still has an awful rubbery/plastic-y smell. With my hands slipping as they do, this is not even functional for me; at 1/3 of the price I'd still be looking for a replacement....

I bought this yoga mat a while back and at first I didn't mind the slippy/stretchy material, but as I've come to find that I've done more harm to my body by using this mat. It doesn't provide the proper stretch that you would need in order to balance yourself. So I threw this one out BUT I found that the Harbinger 340303 Durafoam Exercises mat is so much thicker so you won't be slipping and slidding all over the place, hope this was helpful to someone in need, good luck!...

This mat has been extremely slippery. I cannot even do a down dog pose more than once per session on it. It seems to compress the creases meant to give you grip and absorb any sort of moisture within the first few minutes of working out. It also tends to bunch up and it curls at the ends instead of laying flat. I hope it will work better once it's broken in more, but for now it's just being troublesome....
