I recently ordered this Gaiam gym bag from Amazon.com. What a smooth transaction! Took advantage of "Free Super Saver Shipping" with my order over $25. Literally, ordered item Saturday night - and received it Wednesday.
This bag has exceeded my expectations! Very organizational on the inside (i.e. water bottle holder, zippered pocket, open pocket w/pen holders, and a key tether). In addition, there are two outer pockets, two side velcro pockets, and an adjustable yoga mat cord on the bottom. Tested the cord - and my regular-size yoga mat stays in place and is easy to carry alongside me. As a note, can be awkward to carry yoga mat this way - rather than using an over-the-shoulder yoga mat bag. However, given the other benefits of this gym bag, I won't mind.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this bag for anyone in search of a functional, yet stylish gym bag that won't weigh you down!...

I think this is a great on the go, and going to the gym, bag. It fits a water bottle in the side (outside) and several pieces of clothing plus a towel inside. It's not giant and would not fit a mat or anything. It fits nicely over the shoulder and is comfortable to walk with and carry....

I got this bag back in May 2011. The outside pockets for the water bottles tend to fit only the slimmer metal water bottles rather than the larger "Nalgene" type bottles. The outer pockets have a magnetic clasp, but the stitching doesn't seem too secure, so I'm not sure how long they would last if I used those pockets more often. The bag doesn't hold much: my yoga block (singular, I don't think it would hold two) and strap. I can bring gym clothes in the bag, but putting jeans, a shirt, and a sweater inside the bag with my yoga block/strap is asking too much of it. It is either put in clothes and yoga supplies or put in yoga supplies and a pair of shoes, not shoes/yoga supplies/clothes. For this reason, I have found it is easier to come to the gym already dressed and just use the bag to carry my yoga supplies.
The ring inside the bag for the key is just a ring; in order to clip your keys on, you would have to have a clip on your keyring. I don't find this ring very useful at all, so I'm still tossing my keys in and fishing them out every time I go to the gym.
There are two pockets inside the bag: one is a loose pocket and one is a zippered pocket. I like the loose pocket better because I can just toss a few things in there, but the zippered pocket is useful when I want to make it less obvious to others where I put my wallet.
The zippers for the main pocket and the inner pocket open and close with ease, as do the snaps on the outer pockets.
The straps underneath the bag for an exercise mat are very useful; however, they tend to dig in to my mat a lot, so I had to purchase a mat bag to protect my mat from having lines in it from the bungie straps. Putting a mat in the bungie straps also makes the bag a little unbalanced if you don't line the mat up well, so take your time putting it in to balance it out.
I like this bag because it is prettier than a gym bag. It's small and is easy to tote around, although sometimes the handles are a bit short for my taste. If you want more room than just carrying in some yoga supplies and a block, then you should buy a larger bag or a duffel. If you want a small bag that totes a few things to and from the gym, then this is the bag for you....
