Okay, when I received these for my birthday from some neighbors who know nothing about yoga, I almost laughed! I have strong studio and home practice more than 5 times a week and thought socks could not possibly work but hated pulling out a mat every time I had urge or time to do yoga. I am totally surprised though! I have hardwood floors and some tile and these keep my feet warm while giving me great traction for strong vinyasa flows. I like them so much, I am putting more pairs on my list for Xmas! Be aware though.. They run small so I am glad neighbors bought Medium/Large as they shrank to fit my size 7 foot just fine....
