Very strong metal - great durability and price, but they are 1/2 inch high (thick) when closed, so they do not work under house doors for entry floor mats....

These floor mat clips are not worth the money. They break at the first bend near the pointed end. I wish I did not waste my money on them....

I'm not sure why car makers don't put this safety feature into more cars! The mats on my 2008 Honda Fit as well as my 2005 Mercedes C230 would not stay put. It got to be dangerous on the Honda! These Mat-loc clips couldn't be easier, and the mats haven't moved since I installed them....
