A safe, nontoxic, hypoallergenic and effective way to clean and restore your sticky yoga mat. Our new Yoga Mat Wash was designed by yogis and yoginis concerned about the residues from their work out. Super mild and effective castile soap based formula works on all water safe surfaces, including: balance balls, foam blocks, chairs, cushions, straps and other yoga and Pilates accoutrements. Crafted from certified organic vegetable oils and botanicals and free of synthetic chemicals, artificial colors, fragrances, preservatives, alcohol and detergents. Cruelty and animal byproduct free. Not tested on animals. Safe for skin contact and sensitive individuals. Certified Organic and USDA Approved. Available in 2oz and 4oz sizes (both perfect to toss in your yoga mat bag), a larger studio size (16oz), and a 1 gallon refill bottle.
Daily Cleaning:
Spray 3 times onto a wet cloth or paper towel and lightly scrub. Wipe down mat with clean cloth and air dry.
Medium Cleaning:
Lightly spray onto mat. Rinse, wipe dry, air dry
Deep Cleaning and Restoration:
Spray directly onto mat and soak 3 minutes. Work into a lather with a wet cloth, rinse, wipe dry and air dry. Repeat if needed.
Yoga mat should be completely dry before storing or using.

I bought this soap just to keep my mat clean. It's got quite a strong lemon/ginger smell, which can be unpleasant if you use too much of the spray when cleaning. In small amounts it's nice and makes your mat smell clean.
By accident, I found that if you happen to use this on your bathroom mirrors (long story), it makes them fog free! Which is great, since I can't find any fog-free cleaners for glass normally. It works really well, and doesn't take much, even for large mirrors....

This mat spray is made with essential oils...which are natural and chemical free. What else would you want to wash your yoga mat with? The esential oils leave behind a nice aroma that lingers into your next practice. Be careful not to overuse, particularly if you have a sensitive nose though. I just use a couple squirts and spread it thin over my mat. It is also effective to kill bacteria and fungus on mats when you are sharing mats with others. Buy the small bottle if it is for yourself, the big one is huge! I don't know it's shelf life....

This product got more of the gunk off my well used yoga mat that scrubbing in the shower with soap and water....
