The towel works well and is beautiful colors. I have to wet the top and bottom of the towel before class so I don't slip on my down dog but, that's normal!
The headband is a light and a bit wimpy....all in all, recommended....

This has helped me out SO much! I'm not a hard core yogi, but I consistently go once a week. I get very sweaty palms which makes many poses difficult to hold. I had tried YogiToes sticky gloves, and they worked but were a bit uncomfortable between my fingers. This mat solves those problems! The more of a sweat you work up, the better the mat sticks, at first when its dry its not perfect, it slips just a little, but a few minutes in and you're set! I love it, and the color is so bright and cheerful! I washed it separately before using as suggested, and had no issues with dyes running as some people have complained. Really great mat.
I have not used the headband, I dont like headbands....

This towel is great! The headband works great for me too! I love the funky look and it really stays in place on my mat. At the start of my practice I find that it helps to mist the towel a bit to prevent any possible slipping of my hands and feet before I really start to sweat (thus the four stars). I researched towels before purchasing and I really wanted to avoid having to mist/wet it down. All in all I am VERY happy with this towel....
