the only things i liked about the mat was the length and color. the mat has a slippery coating which makes you slide while doing your practice....

I didn't expect much mat for the low price I paid, and this mat met my expectations.
I'm a tall guy and often need to reposition myself on other yoga mats so I don't keep slipping off the edge. One good thing to be said about the 80 inch Hugger Mugger is that I never have any problems running out of room, although I do feel a little silly rolling it out on the floor. It just keeps rolling and rolling...
When I received it I immediately washed it with lavender-scented soap, and that seemed to take care of the odor and help improve tackiness. The material is very thin, though, and started shredding as soon as I tested it with my first down dog. The thin material does work well for storage, however. Despite its extreme length, it still rolls up nicely and is easy to tote.
Judging from how thin it is and how easily it tears, I don't expect this mat to last very long. But like I said, I didn't expect much for the low price tag....
