I got this mat for my yoga practice because I am allergic to latex and this one is latex free.
The thickness is great while the tactile feel of the mat is great too.
It has been working out great for me with repetitive usage and sweaty practices.

I have started dabbling in pilates.
I am not exactly sure the differences between a pilates and yoga mat but this one has done me well in both practices.
I found this mat to be thick enough even when on my side and my hip doesn't hurt from the pressure of the ground.
It seems durable and has worked nicely for me so far....

I got this mat because I wanted one that was a darker blue color.
I love the weight and thickness of this one.
The quality is great and I would recommend it for pilates and yoga alike.
