Superior comfort, quality and durability

Colorful, non-leaching, soft and resilient closed-cell foam

Can also be used as a pool float

Cando cushioned exercise mats offer superior comfort, quality and durability, yet are lightweight and sturdy enough for commercial use in health and fitness clubs. Made of colorful, non-leaching, soft and resilient closed-cell foam material Cando mats are waterproof and sanitary. Mats can even be used as a pool float. Perfect for exercise, yoga and Pilates-style workouts. Available in Y (yellow), R (red), G (green), B (blue) and BLK (black). Unlike Cando resistive products, mat color is aesthetic and does not indicate varying levels of firmness. Extra-thick closed-cell foam mats are great for home use!

The mat is supposed to be 26 x 72 inches, just what I was looking for since I want to work out on the concrete patio outside. Unfortunately when I received the mat it was obviously smaller than advertised. It was actually 22 x 63.5". I played phone tag with Isokinetics for 2 or 3 days before I could talk to anyone about it, but they made it right.

The mat doesn't appear at all to be defective. It has molded in ridges and a smooth border all the way around. Isokinetics offered to exchange it but couldn't guarantee that the replacement would be the proper dimensions, probably because (I'm guessing) it ships directly from the manufacturer. The thickness is about right and it does cushion adequately on concrete. Overall I would give 5 stars to Isokinetics for customer service and 1 star to Cando for a misleading product description. It looks to be a good mat if you don't mind the smaller size....

I wanted a good mat for stretching and ab work. I always end up bruising my ankles and spine if I use my yoga mat, or even if I put down blankets on the floor. I hung the mat up for a couple days, spritzed it with Febreeze, and now it's safe to touch without my skin smelling icky.

(For those reviewers who think it's a problem with Cando's product that it comes smelling funky, they should realize that this always happens with any foam product that's sealed up - check out other foam mat reviews, or memory foam bed toppers, etc, for reference. It's just the nature of the beast.)

Anyhow. The mat is nice and long, and brilliantly cushy - the only downside is that it's so nice, I'm perpetually tempted to just give up with stretching and take a nap on it....
