Although I am an average size woman, I have enjoyed the extra length of this mat as my cheaper and shorter mat allows my feet to go over the edge with certain stretches. This mat is firm yet soft enough to fall asleep on. I exercise in two locations, and the other mat is annoying in comparison to this one,so, I am buying this one again.
