It's 1/8 inch thick. It's good for someone who doesn't sweat when he does Yoga. I can barely do downward facing dog on it. It's slippery like hell. Very disappointed. Recommend you do buy Nike Wonderful. Pay double for something that's worth it....

I didn't purchase this rather thin yoga mat to do yoga. I cut it into pieces to cushion the noise of a tri-level cat cage. It worked beautifully!...
