This gymnastics style mat is softer than average, perfect for the kids' playroom where we keep it. It folds up easily into a manageable size and is very light. The 2 inch padding prevents injury when the boys fall onto it (which occurs frequently). It is also easily cleaned and waterproof. Highly recommend this product....
