I am not 100% sure if this works out as intended.

Considering, it looks NOTHING like the photo, you have no choice as far as colour and it arrives looking just like a piece of foam..powdery residue and all - I would not recomend giving it as a gift (what I am unfortunately going to have to do at this point!).

It's really a piece of foam clumsily cut. I gather for personal use it would not matter, but not as a gift.

And, for a few bux more you can find a higher end foam that will do the job and be a bit more asthetically pleasing....

Not much to it. You get ONE very small rubber mat. Mine was grey. Measured it and found it to be 14 inches long by 7.5 inches and about 3/8 inch thick. I needed it for an aging dog but if I purchased it for an exercise mat I thing I'd be a bit miffed. Since there's no real description of this product I think they knew people wouldn't want it. Hopefully my dog likes it....

This was a very good deal. The only complaint is that the mat is not super thick, but it is not bad. I was searching for the foam roller and came across this box set and I would say it is well worth it....

Foam roller feels awesome after a long day at the skating rink. Yoga mat is good quality .. haven't used the stretch bands but they seem sturdy from unpacking them....

This was a great introductory package into foam rollers back when the price was only $15. I told a lot of people about it, and a few of them eventually complained that it no longer existed. I was surprised to find that the price had doubled. It's just not worth $30. The foam roller is not very firm and will wear out soon. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the high density ones....

Perfect size for average mat (would definitely fit a thick one) and even a average size towel. Front pocket big enough to hold phone and some cash. I love the front attachment - perfect for keys. Material softer than expected - nice!

I use it when I ride my bike to yoga class. The strap is adjustable, and it doesn't slide around on my shoulders.

My only complaint is that the green looks much brighter on line. It's not really a grass green - more on the khaki side. I like the bag enough to make peace with that.

Also perfect for guys or anyone tired of the whole lotus blossom look that seems to dominate yoga style....

I've got a plump prAna yoga mat, so I needed a bag that was big enough for the mat to fit inside easily (in other words, no straining and stuffing). And I wanted something without much of a design. This bag ticks both those boxes. It's also large enough for a modest-sized towel to slide in along with the mat. On the outside, it has a velco-flapped pocket to hold things like gym passes, a plastic clip for other parcels to be attached to it, and a carrying strap. A good value for the money--I'm very happy with it....

This mat has it all. It's beautiful (the colors are rich and vibrant), and the texture is perfect (soft, sticky, durable). My first mat was from Gaiam, which has a beautiful print but is too slippery. My second was Savasa Natural Designs Collection Yoga Mat, which is nice but a little thin and starting to show wear. The Hugger Mugger mat's colors are part of the material (not just a print on top), and it feels substantial while also providing a great surface for holding poses. I'm surprised by how much I like the orange-red color, but it's so nice, I might just have to buy a purple-blue one as well!...

I love the color and the quality seems nice on this yoga mat.

My only issue with it is that it tends to get slippery upon sweating. My MAIN reason for purchasing a yoga mat was because the mat I was using (just an old used exercise mat but thick!), was due to a tendon injury from slipping during a pose. I researched these TO DEATH before I finally decided on this one based on the good reviews and the price.

If anyone claims that this mat doesn't get slippery when sweating they're not sweating!

Perhaps over time it will somehow get..."worked in"...and the slippery factor isn't HORRIBLE but it's a factor I was so trying to remedy in this purchase....

It IS soft, and colorful and seems sturdy although I found it to gather up at times during transitions from poses like downward dog into upward dog....and the like.

It's not a BAD mat but I was expecting something more tactile and less smooth....

I absolutely love this bag. The adjustable handle is so convenient. It can be worn over the shoulder or across the chest or even in your hand. The mesh allows the bag to breathe in between sessions and the zipper is nice and sturdy. The fact that it's made out of recycled soda bottles makes it even better!...

I had purchased the Northern lights mat from Aurorae and was in love with it. I started going to my yoga classes and was talking to my instructor about blocks and straps and thought I would try one out since I needed a little height and support for some of the poses. I thought it would be weird at first, but I decided to go back to Aurorae since they seem like such a great company and bought their block. It's also a nice purple color. WOW! How fun it is to do yoga with a block! I can get a little lift and love it!...

I see the American reviewers are much more positive about the mat than the British. But I agree with you Americans on this point.

I have used it naked (otherwise I can't feel the spikes) and up to an hour at a time, though I began gradually.

At first it feels extremely painful. though I suspect this appplies only to us unhealthy people who are already suffering from this and that and have intense need of stimulation of the various points. (My 12-year old granddaughter when trying out a Shakti cushion claimed she felt no pain when using it while other members of the family - adults - felt it to be extremely uncomfortable.) However after about ten minutes, generally, the pain subsides and one can hardly feel it. In my case, however, when using the mat on the buttocks, firstly, it was more painful than usual, and secondly, the pain at first did not subside, though it does now slightly, though only after a long time.

When exposing only the back area to the mat, after about ten minutes I generally feel a wonderful, extremely comfortable inner heat spread throughout the area, similar to leaning on a hot water bottle, but as stated a deep inner warmth. The feeling is almost orgasmic - it feels like the exposed cells are feeling ecstatic, and extremely satisfied. This is a wonderful feeling - in fact I'm becoming addicted to use of this mat!

I suffer from MS and several other auto-immune diseases. I had had most of my left buttock numb for several years. After about three applications of the mat on my back (not buttocks) suddenly my left buttock felt normal. This was fantastic. Also when being scanned with something called Meta therapy (a treatment used in Russia and other East European countries for about 20 years in their hospitals - something I get done regularly in Denmark where I live - but not administered by doctors!), it could be seen that my heart and circulation were extremely improved, apparently functioning perfectly. The therapist found it amazing and told me to use the mat twice a day from then on. However, I don't generally do that.I use it when I can, and when I feel like it. But the improvement that occurred did so after only a handful of "treatments".

Sometimes I feel extremely relaxed after using the mat, though I don't always notice this effect.

I'm not saying this mat is a miracle worker, but it definitely has an extremely beneficial effect, and I feel that users should try it out on various parts of the body. I feel that the more health problems one has, the greater will be the benefit. But even if you do not suffer from severe health problems, use of the mat will surely have an immense preventive effect.

I recommend it highly. Who knows what its use could lead to in the way of dramatic health improvement?

It really is a wonderful product. I use it regularly, with relaxing music, and always feel invigorated afterward. I also take it with me while traveling. 10-15 minutes on my Shakti mat is so restorative! And as far as it being faddish, I understand what the other reviewer is trying to convey...but if you're into maintaining your health or improving it, I recommend it. I've had mine for nearly a year and my husband and I both use it regularly--mostly on our backs, but sometimes on our feet (after lots of sightseeing!). And I can't say that the Shakti is the main reason for my health or well being, but it feels great and I feel wonderful after using it. Highly recommended....

My boyfriend bought this for my anxiety and lower back pain....it hurts at first, but only for a few minutes. Then you feel warm and then you...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
