I love this mat! It isn't too heavy, but it's incredibly cushioned. I use this in a Bikram studio with a towel, but it should also grip well in a normal studio since both sides are textured. The blue is vibrant and the details are well done. Before this I was using a flimsy gaiam mat, and I now see the benefits of a bigger, thicker, higher quality mat....
